Pairs to Love

How was your week KLovers? Hope you had a fantastic week...and an even more fantastic weekend!

House of K's feature for today is about our personal picks among our collections. My sister and I each has our own favorite pair of KFlats. And today, I am blogging about MY personal choices!

Last April, boyfie and I took a trip to Bohol to celebrate our anniversary. Normally, I take 2 or 3 pairs of footwear when I travel to make sure that they match with my outfit. Thanks to KFlats, I did not have to bring another pair! I survived the entire trip with just my pair of Gigi Red flats.

In the photo above, I paired my flats with my aztec bandage skirt and a lacy cream top (not in photo). At first, I thought red flats would never match a heavily-printed skirt. But it turned out perfectly well!

Another favorite of mine is Kristie Spring flats. I just love the combination of colors and materials in one classy and elegant pair of flats. Subtle colors of peach and cream are perfectly combined with the bright hue of turquoise. Kristie Spring has become my favorite pair when I report to class or just hang out at the mall.

These flats can be worn with or without the strap on. When I wear jeans, I use the flats without strap. But when I have a skirt or dress on, straps on the flats make it look more fashionable and classy.

Today could just be your luck day! House of K is looking for fashion enthusiasts and active fashion bloggers who represent and embody the ideals of the brand. The search for House of K Ambassador is on!

Who are qualified to join?

-female fashion blogger (no age requirement)

-with at least 1 active fashion blog

-resident of the Philippines

-willing to promote House of K through blog posts and other means of social media

-existing customer of House of K (or GF Shop) is an advantage BUT not required

How to join?

Well, we are actually looking for three, yes three ambassadors to represent our shop. We will choose one ambassador each for KFlats, KBags and KSes. Each will receive sponsorship from House of K.

KFlats Ambassador will receive one (1) pair of kflats of her choice. She will also get gift certificates from House of K subject to terms and conditions. A solo feature in our blog and IG account will also be dedicated for this lucky blogger.

Sweetest Barbie Alive

First is SWEET.

True indeed! Our very first feature for certified KFlats users is dedicated to the sweet and real-life Barbie, Ms. Verniece Enciso. 

The world of fashion blogging is lifeless without the blogs of Verniece and her sister Vern. I remember how my younger sister would fondly talk about them. They have been fashion inspirations for my sister, especially Verniece.

Just a couple of days ago, Verniece posted in their blogsite www.vernverniece.com her outfit post wearing our Gigi Mustard kflats. 

See how she resembles Barbie with this outfit? 

Our Gigi collection comes in three vibrant colors: red, blue and mustard. This bow-inspired KFlats aims to bring out the "sweetness" in every woman. And we are so elated that it did accomplish its goal. Gigi mustard makes the sweet Verniece even sweeter!

TRIVIA: This collection is named after our very beautiful and ageless mother, who maintain that "sweetness" at 52!

A New Home

Home is where the ❤ is!

My sister and I started our own online shop (GF Shop) on the first of July last year. We started with a very minimal capital (just P3500 each!) for few pieces of gadget cases. With the help of our pioneer customers and loyal friends, the shop gained more and more followers on Instagram.

About a few months later, December to be exact, we came up with the boldest idea of expanding our business. Inspired by a local TV series, we thought of venturing to shoe business. This by far, is the most daring business decision we ever made!

About March this year, we released our first KFlats Collection. Four designs were made available to the online market: Kristie Collection with three variants (Spring, Summer and Winter), Krissel Collection (Black, Gold and Silver), Gigi Collection (Blue, Red and Mustard), and Corrine Peach.

A little over one year, we decided to change our shop's name. As we are the home of three online market brands, we thought of re-establishing our shop as the "House of K". The new name was launched on July 20, 2013.

Now we are creating a new home...a new opportunity to expand our connections...a new way to reach out to more people...a new blog for a new shop. Allow us to be part of your homes as we welcome you with open arms to our crib...our home...our House of K.
